Comfortable ride with precise edge control when carving. The flex characteristics of each TwinTip board are determined by several features built into each specific design. Variations in core thickness and taper, as well as longitudinal and transverse details, play the most important role in controlling overall flex and feel. Board-specific laminate builds then allow us to further fine-tune flex and board characteristics. We adjust the longitudinal and torsional stiffness in conjunction with the rocker line, plan view and profile of the board to give each board its specific performance characteristics. - Lightweight, high-impact eco-core
Paulownia is a highly renewable hardwood species with one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios. Ultra lightweight, with high shear strength and high impact resistance, Paulownia wood forms a non-toxic core that significantly displaces the amount of foam or resin used in manufacturing, reducing carbon emissions.
