The blade is designed with a square shape for a softer catch yet stronger stroke. The narrower profile allows you to bring the paddle closer to the board and hold the paddle more vertically, improving tracking. It has a double concave blade face that fits nicely into a pronounced dihedral that really adds stability to the stroke and prevents blade wobble. The higher aspect design also reduces impact on the body and allows for a higher cadence without reducing surface area.
There is a single dieder on the blade's power surface in the center of the blade to allow water to drain evenly from each side, creating a consistent and stable stroke that allows you to deliver more power while stabilizing the paddle.
