This is a more durable fabric that provides better protection. In order to prevent unnecessary water from getting through the seams, critical areas inside were provided with taping adhesive

GBS (Glued blindstitch)
Stitching method, in which the individual parts are first glued together and then only sewn together halfway through the fabric, instead of "piercing" them completely. This makes the seams waterproof.

The reduced thickness of the neck construction makes it easier for the neoprene to follow the curves of the neck with less pressure. The neoprene feels like a second skin, while the slide ring lining enables excellent water closure.
