Xcel Axis X X2 Wetsuit 3/2mm Frontzip Women Ink Blue
The Axis X X2 by Xcel is the successor to the coveted X-Flex series and in the 3/2mm thickness is perfect for women to keep warm in moderate temperatures in the water. The Neo is made from Japanese limestone neoprene, which makes it particularly light and soft.
The suit features the X2 front zipper which combined with the inner crossover neck entry, quick drying, lightweight and naturally hydrophobic premium lining ensures you are guaranteed warmth and can spend your time in or on the water without worry. The additional plush thermal liner in the chest and back optimizes warmth and comfort, and the inner water barrier and Glide Skin neck cuff retain water, so even longer stays in and on the water are no problem.
The Engineered Fit design and Duraflex knee panels allow the Neo to fit you like a second skin, giving you maximum freedom of movement. The suit is made from 100% Ultra Stretch Neoprene and is also equipped with the Thermo Dry Seam Tape System, which means maximum stretch and durability for you, so you can pursue your water sports passion without any worries.
Thermo Dry Seam Tape
A very stretchy and durable inner tape seam that provides an even better seal against water and thus retains heat much better. The tape is either infrared patterned (Neos with TDC) or yellow (Neos without TDC).
S-Seal Technology
Durable, even more flexible outer seam, for an even better seal. The neoprene parts are "soldered" together, so to speak, to let even less water through.
Ultra Stretch Neoprene
Comfortable, lightweight neoprene made with lightweight foam and dense fabric for extra low water absorption, longer lasting and maximum stretch.
Quick-Dry Lining
Quick-drying, hydrophobic premium lining. Fast drying time to increase thermal performance. The Quick-Dry Lining is made from recycled polyester fibres to ensure the most environmentally friendly production possible.
Glued Blinded Stitching
The neoprene panels are glued and then blind stitched. Blind stitching means that the needle does not fully penetrate the neoprene to keep even more water out. The seams are fully sealed, giving you maximum stretch ability of the wetsuit.
DuraFlex Knee Panels
The comfortable knee pads protect your knees from abrasions and other injuries. They are very stretchy, so they do not interfere with your movements or restrict your freedom of movement.
X2 Front Entry
With the waterproof front entry system, the front zipper runs along the upper chest-shoulder area. The zipper flap, located on the right shoulder, keeps more water out. The inner Crossover Neck Entry features overlapping panels that stretch to allow extra wide entry into the Neo.
X2 Crossover Neck Entry
The overlapping inner front and rear neck panels (under the zipper flap) expand to allow extra wide, entry.
Xcel Magnetic Zip Closure
Innovative and fast opening zipper features a double magnet on the zipper tab and attached zipper flap, which securely locks the zipper in place and makes it easier and faster to open than traditional closures.
To increase your own safety in and on the water, every water sports lover should equip themselves with a wetsuit. These not only protect you from abrasions, but also from sunburn, cold and much more, which could make you lose the joy of activities in and on the water.
TAB:Size chart
Hint:
If your body measurements are between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size.
However, you should make sure that the wetsuit always fits tightly like a second skin on the body. This prevents too much water from flowing through the wetsuit and heat from being lost. TAB:How do you measure correctly?

Often we are asked in which temperatures and weather conditions it is best to use which wetsuit with which neoprene thickness. We are also asked how neoprene shoes, neoprene gloves or neoprene caps should be used. In addition, we have created a rough guideline below, which are based on the information of the manufacturer Xcel.
We want to give you a short overview why you should clean your wetsuit regularly and thoroughly and how to clean it best.
In addition to the hygiene factor, regular care also has an effect on the durability of the neoprene. If you simply hang your wetsuit out to dry in the sun after a session on the water and don't rinse out the salt water and dirt thoroughly, the neoprene can quickly become brittle and cracked. In general, we advise you not to hang your neo directly in the sun.
A little tip when putting on the wetsuit: Make sure your body is dry, then it will be much easier to put on. Neoprene sticks to wet skin.
When you have finished your session, you should rinse the wetsuit directly with clean water. Then turn it inside out and let it dry in a shady and airy place. When the wetsuit is dry, you can turn it inside out and hang it on a sturdy hanger.
Attention: Do not use the spin cycle under any circumstances!
An alternative to the washing machine is the bathtub. Simply run a small bath at 30°C and add some detergent, shower gel or dishwashing liquid and let the wetsuit soak. Then rinse thoroughly again.
Small tip: There are also great neoprene cleaners, e.g. from Mystic.
Why should I clean my wetsuit?
Of course, regular and thorough cleaning of your wetsuit will improve hygiene. It is possible for bacteria, mould or unpleasant odours to build up in the worst case scenario. In addition to the hygiene factor, regular care also has an effect on the durability of the neoprene. How should I clean and care for my wetsuit?
Care begins with careful handling of the wetsuit. When putting on your wetsuit, you should not try to force your way into it, as this puts too much strain on the seams. Hectic and fast movements also put a lot of stress on the seams, so they could tear.A little tip when putting on the wetsuit: Make sure your body is dry, then it will be much easier to put on. Can I wash my wetsuit in the washing machine?
Yes, that is no problem. Just turn it inside out and close the zipper. The wool programme or the gentle wash cycle at a maximum of 30°C is best. We recommend using a mild detergent. To remove all detergent residues, you can rinse again with water after the wash cycle.Attention: Do not use the spin cycle under any circumstances!
