The Axis X X2 from Xcel is the successor to the coveted X-Flex series and, with its 4/3mm thickness, is ideal for women to keep warm in the water in the cold months. The Neo is made from Japanese cold stone neoprene, which makes it particularly light and soft.
The suit is equipped with the X2 front zip, which in combination with the inner crossover neck entry, the quick-drying, light and naturally hydrophobic premium lining ensures that you are guaranteed warmth and you can spend your time carefree in or on the water.
The additional plush thermal insert in the chest and back area optimizes warmth and comfort. The inner water barrier and the Glide Skin neck collar hold the water back, so that longer stays in the water are no problem.
The engineered fit design and the Duraflex knee panels allow the Neo to fit like a second skin, giving you maximum freedom of movement. The suit is made of 100% ultra stretch neoprene and is additionally equipped with the Thermo Dry Seam Tape Systems, which means maximum flexibility and durability for you.
Thermo Dry Seam Tape
A very stretchy and hard-wearing inner band seam, which ensures an even better seal against water and thus stores the heat much better. The band is either infrared patterned (Neos with TDC) or yellow (Neos without TDC).
S-Seal Technology
Durable, more flexible outer seam for an even better seal. The neoprene parts are, so to speak, soldered together to allow even less water to pass through.
Ultra-Stretch-Neoprene
Comfortable, lightweight neoprene, which is made of lightweight foam and dense fabric so that it absorbs little water, has a longer shelf life and maximum stretch.
Quick-Dry Lining
Fast-drying, hydrophobic premium lining. Fast drying time to increase the heat output. The Quick-Dry Lining is made from recycled polyester fibers to ensure the most environmentally friendly production possible.
Glued Blinded Stitching
The neoprene panels are glued and then blind sewn. Blind stitched means that the needle does not penetrate completely through the neoprene so that more water is kept out. The seams are fully sealed and offer you maximum stretchability of the wetsuit.
DuraFlex Knee Panels
The comfortable knee pads protect your knees from abrasions and other injuries. They are very stretchable, so they do not interfere with movements or restrict your freedom of movement.
X2 Front Entry
With the waterproof front entry system, the front zipper runs along the upper chest and shoulder area. The zipper flap on the right shoulder keeps more water out. The inner crossover neck entry has overlapping panels that stretch to allow an extra wide entry into the Neo.
X2 Crossover Neck Entry
The overlapping inner front and back neck inserts (under the zipper flap) expand to allow for an extra wide entry.
Xcel Magnetic Zip Closure
The innovative and quick-open zipper is equipped with a double magnet on the zipper flap and the zipper flap attached to it, which securely fixes the zipper and makes it easier and faster to open than with conventional closures.
To increase your own safety in and on the water, every water sports enthusiast should equip themselves with a wetsuit. These not only protect against abrasions, but also against sunburn, cold and much more, which could make you lose the joy of activities in and on the water.

We are often asked at which temperatures and weather conditions you should best use which wetsuit with which neoprene strength. We are also asked what it looks like with neoprene shoes, neoprene gloves or neoprene caps. For this purpose, we have created a rough guideline below, which based on the information of manufacturers.
We want to give you a brief overview of why you should clean your wetsuit regularly and thoroughly and how you can best clean it.
In addition to the hygiene factor, regular care also affects the durability of the neoprene. If you just hang up your wetsuit to dry in the sun after a session on the water and don't rinse out the salt water and dirt, the neoprene can quickly become brittle and cracked. We generally advise against hanging the Neo directly in the sun.
A little hint when putting onMake sure that your body is dry, then it can be much easier to put on. Neoprene sticks to wet skin.
When you have finished your session, you should wash the Neo directly with clean water. Then turn it to the left and let it dry in a shady and airy place. When the neo is dry you can turn it over and hang it on a sturdy frame.
Attention: You must not use the spin cycle!
An alternative to the washing machine is the bathtub. Just take a small bath with 30 ° C water temperature and add some detergent, shower gel or Spüli and let soak the wetsuit. Then rinse thoroughly again.
A little hint:There are also great Neoprenreiniger example from Mystic.
Why should I clean my wetsuit?
Of course, regular and thorough cleaning of your wetsuit improves hygiene. In the worst case, it is possible that bacteria, mold or unpleasant smells will form.In addition to the hygiene factor, regular care also affects the durability of the neoprene. How should I cleanse and care for my wetsuit?
The care begins with a careful handling of the wetsuit. When putting on, you should not try to get into the wetsuit by force, as this puts too much strain on the seams. Even hectic and fast movements stress the seams so much that they could break.A little hint when putting onMake sure that your body is dry, then it can be much easier to put on. Can I wash my wetsuit in the washing machine?
Yes this is not a problem. Just turn it to the left and close the zipper. The best choice is either the wool program or the gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 ° C. As a detergent, we recommend mild detergent. To remove all detergent residues, you can rinse again after washing with water.Attention: You must not use the spin cycle!
