Xcel Drylock Neoprene Glove 5mm Black
Everyone knows it - cold feet and fingers are very unpleasant and hurt extremely, especially when "thawing". So that you can enjoy your session on the water and at least have no aching fingers, we recommend neoprene gloves.
The Xcel Drylock Neoprene Glove 5mm Black 2017 offers you everything you need for your session at water temperatures around 8 ° on the water. Of course, the neoprene glove is also suitable for much warmer temperatures, if you prefer to wear neoprene gloves for surfing, kiting or whatever.
Among other things, the neoprene glove is equipped with the revolutionary and extremely warm Black TDC (Thermo Dry Celliant) lining. This lining uses mineralized Smart Fibers to convert body heat into infrared energy, which keeps you even warmer. In addition, "Quick Dry Fibers" have been used, which makes it dry extremely quickly and thus brings more thermal performance.
Furthermore, the Infiniti is made of 100% Ultra Stretch Neoprene. Due to the taped seams and the "Blind-Stitching" technology, whereby the neoprene is only half punctured, extremely little water penetrates the glove. All outer seams are additionally welded with Taitex, which again reduces the penetration of water.
Since the Xcel neoprene gloves have been provided with special very "grippy" material, you have perfect grip.
Drylock Wrist Seal
This seamless "doughnut seal" construction "seals". This minimizes the penetration of water and also the "flushing" of the gloves with water.
Taitex Sealer
Durable and flexible outer fabric for sealing a glued "blind stitched" seam to maximize durability and keep water out of the neoprene boot.
Texture Skin
Texture embossed rubber that makes your neo even more wind resistant. Perfect for areas of the body that lose heat quickly, like the head (for neoprene hoods).
Glued Blinded Stitching
The neoprene panels are glued and then blind stitched. Blind stitching means that the needle does not fully penetrate the neoprene to keep even more water out. The seams are fully sealed, giving you maximum stretch ability of the wetsuit.

We are often asked in which temperatures and weather conditions it is best to use which wetsuit with which neoprene thickness. We are also asked how neoprene shoes, neoprene gloves or neoprene caps should be used. In the following we have created a rough guideline, which is based on the information of the manufacturer Xcel.
We want to give you a short overview why you should clean your neoprene suit and your other neoprene parts like neoprene gloves, shoes or hoods regularly and thoroughly and how to clean it best. These tips are related to wetsuits here, but apply to any wetsuit equipment.
In addition to the hygiene factor, regular care also has an effect on the durability of the neoprene. If you simply hang your wetsuit out to dry in the sun after a session on the water and don't rinse out the salt water and dirt thoroughly, the neoprene can quickly become brittle and cracked. In general, we advise you not to hang your neo directly in the sun.
A little tip when putting on the wetsuit: Make sure your body is dry, then it will be much easier to put on. Neoprene sticks to wet skin.
When you have finished your session, you should rinse the wetsuit directly with clean water. Then turn it inside out and let it dry in a shady and airy place. When the wetsuit is dry, you can turn it inside out and hang it on a sturdy hanger.
Attention: Do not use the spin cycle under any circumstances!
An alternative to the washing machine is the bathtub. Simply run a small bath at 30°C and add some detergent, shower gel or dishwashing liquid and let the wetsuit soak. Then rinse thoroughly again.
Small tip: There are also great neoprene cleaners, e.g. from Mystic.
Why should I clean my wetsuit?
Of course, regular and thorough cleaning of your wetsuit will improve its hygiene. It is possible for bacteria, mould or unpleasant odours to form in the worst case.In addition to the hygiene factor, regular care also has an effect on the durability of the neoprene. How should I clean and care for my wetsuit?
Care begins with careful handling of the wetsuit. When putting on your wetsuit, you should not try to force your way into it, as this puts too much strain on the seams. Hectic and fast movements also put a lot of stress on the seams, so that they could tear.A little tip when putting on the wetsuit: Make sure your body is dry, then it will be much easier to put on. Can I wash my wetsuit in the washing machine?
Yes, that is no problem. Just turn it inside out and close the zipper. The wool programme or the gentle wash cycle at a maximum of 30°C is best. We recommend using a mild detergent. To remove all detergent residues, you can rinse again with water after the wash cycle.Attention: Do not use the spin cycle under any circumstances!
