XCEL's Youth Comp with front zipper is the smaller of the Comp X.
The Plush Thermo Lite body lining is not quite as warm as the Comp X's TDC thermal lining. It runs from the chest to the ankles. It's extremely lightweight, flexible, and durable. It also fits the body even better in 2019 and lets less water through.
The suit draws all these benefits from the manufacture of Limestone neoprene from Japanese limestone. Due to the special microcellular structure of the limestone, the neoprene has more air pockets in it than oil-based neoprene.
The Youth Comp is one of the lightest and softest wetsuits from XCEL due to its Japanese Limestone Neoprene.
In proven XCEL quality, the suit is very high quality and convinces with a lot of useful features. With the so-called Plush Thermo Lite Body, a soft inner lamination ensures comfort and warmth. The One Piece Panel, a back panel consisting of one piece, also ensures easy entry. The so-called Water Tight Zipper prevents water from entering and is supported by the neck cuff, which also keeps water from entering the suit. XCEL calls this Glide Skin Collare.
The Youth Comp feels like a lot of comfort and performance thanks to the 100% Perfromance Stretch. It is sewn with environmentally friendly yarn called Dope Dye Yarn

To increase your safety in and on the water, every water sports enthusiast should equip themselves with a wetsuit. These not only protect you from abrasions, but also from sunburn, cold and much more, which could make you lose the joy of activities in and on the water.
If you are unsure how to measure your body, we have created a measurement guide for you. You can find these instructions in the tab "How do you measure correctly?".
Hint:
If your body measurements lie between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size.
However, you should make sure that the wetsuit always fits tightly to your body like a second skin. This prevents too much water from flowing through the wetsuit and heat from being lost. TAB:How do you measure correctly?
Hint:
Why should I clean my wetsuit?
Of course, regular and thorough cleaning of your wetsuit will improve hygiene. It is possible that in the worst case bacteria, mould or unpleasant odours can develop.Besides the hygiene factor, regular care also has an effect on the durability of the neoprene. If you simply hang your wetsuit out to dry in the sun after a session on the water and don't rinse out the salt water and dirt thoroughly, the neoprene can quickly become brittle and cracked. In general, we advise you not to hang your neo directly in the sun
How should I clean and care for my wetsuit?
Care begins with careful handling of the wetsuit. When putting on your wetsuit, you should not try to force your way into it, as this puts too much strain on the seams. Hectic and fast movements also put a lot of stress on the seams, so that they could tear.A little tip when putting on the wetsuit: Make sure your body is dry, then it will be much easier to put on. Neoprene sticks to wet skin.
When you have finished your session, you should rinse the wetsuit directly with clean water. Then turn it inside out and let it dry in a shady and airy place. When the wetsuit is dry, you can turn it inside out and hang it on a sturdy hanger
Can I wash my wetsuit in the washing machine?
Yes, that is no problem. Just turn it inside out and close the zipper. The wool programme or the gentle wash cycle at a maximum of 30°C is best. We recommend using a mild detergent. To remove any detergent residue, you can rinse again with water after the wash cycle.Attention: Do not use the spin cycle under any circumstances!
An alternative to the washing machine is the bathtub. Simply take a small bath with 30°C water temperature and add some detergent, shower gel or rinsing agent and let the wetsuit soak. Then rinse thoroughly again.
Small tip: There are also great neoprene cleaners, e.g. from Mystic.
