Special features of Restube extreme
The crossed, stable straps on the back of the bag allow a very flexible and at the same time stable attachment to harness systems up to 7cm width. For kite or windsurf harnesses Restube is usually threaded on the straps next to the harness hook. Professional rescuers often adapt the bag directly to their deployment belt. This way, buoyancy is always on hand, just in case.
While most restubes are closed with Velcro, the split pin closure withstands even the toughest external influences, such as large waves or the extreme forces of skydiving. The pull on the release button first pulls the cotter pin out of the guide and then directly releases the buoy.
The extra strong buoy material is made of nylon with a TPU coating. It is extremely robust and complies with the standard for lifejackets (DIN EN ISO 12402-7). The pocket material is made of high quality nylon and protects the buoy inside permanently against UV light as well as mechanical influences.
