The ultimate answer to all minor damage to your polyester board: Solarez consists of millions of small glass fibers soaked in polyester and mixed with UV-active hardener, which remain liquid in the tube - until you apply it to your damaged area and hold it in direct daylight (even works in the rain, then only takes a few minutes longer, but it must be direct daylight, windows filter the necessary UV light!) The best thing: In addition to the good instructions (in English), a sanding pad with a coarse and a fine side for sanding is also included.
Tip for best results: Form the liquid Solarez into the desired shape in the shade using clear plastic film and then expose it to sunlight. Plastic does not filter UV radiation, so it works. Remove the film as soon as the Solarez gels - this gives you a glossy finish without having to sand it down and without making your hands sticky. Suitable for all small and medium repairs on nose, rails, upper and lower deck, fins and tail.
