Through years of epoxy surfboard work, development and testing of pre-preg materials, we have developed the world's first EPS / Epoxy pre-preg surfboard. This is a significant advancement in surfboard technology.
The term Pre-Preg describes a material where the resin is mechanically pre-impregnated under control. Pre-preg composites are cured under heat and high pressure. Baking provides a much stronger cure of the resin.
The implications for surfboards are numerous - more accuracy, less waste, perfect reproduction - But the biggest advantage is in the performance of the main factors to each other: flex and strength to weight.
