Surfboard TORQ Epoxy TEC PG-R 6.2
The PG-R is a surfboard that offers high performance, even in average waves.
For this Torq model, the DNA of the Comp was combined with that of the Summer 5 to create a board with which you get a lot of waves and generate high speed, even in weaker conditions.
At the same time, it still allows for the tightest turns and vertical surfing.
The PG-R has a low-entry rocker and offers ideal glide characteristics due to its width, with a concave running through the front, so that high speeds can be achieved even in medium waves.
From the middle to the tail, the outline runs into a classic shortboard squashtail. The sinlge-to-double underwater hull and vee in the fin area allows easy rail-to-rail transitions.
The result is a fast accelerating board that perfectly transfers the generated speed into radical turns and airtime.
With the 5 Futures fin boxes, it can be surfed as a quad or thruster.

In the TORQ epoxy composite manufacturing, one layer each of 6oz and 4oz fiberglass and carbon reinforcements (in the tail and as stringers) are processed. The bottom is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and also has a carbon strip that runs the entire length, giving the board controlled flex and lively response.

Provide the board with higher stretchability than fiberglass. More lively in maneuvers plus stronger in stressed region such as over the fins.

Stronger - More environmentally friendly
Less release of toxic VOCs when cured. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste in processing.
